Matthews 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:
and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
The moment God adopted us through the blood of Jesus Christ, we became heirs to His throne. As children of God, we have privileges not given to anyone else. We have access to the kingdom of heaven and the authority to bind or lose things on this earth.
Paul said I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Through prayer in Christ, the impossible becomes possible. Consider the following testimony of the power of prayer. Elias prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. Elijah's prayer, Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. Joshua prayed, And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. They were able to change their situation by using the keys of prayer. The heavens were opened or closed according to their asking.
Today's society has declared war on our Godly foundation, and corruption is increasing throughout the land. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The Lord has appointed and anointed us to be the watchman for this generation. If we don't watch and pray, who will? The time to pray is now for society, loved ones, and friends. Everyone is a breath away from eternity. The possibilities are endless if we use our God-given keys. The impossible will become possible through God's promise. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Brethren, the keys to the kingdom are a precious privilege given to us by our Father. Our assignment is to change our situation through prayer. Yet, prayer is the most neglected evidence of the degeneration of society. However, if we repent, humble ourselves, pray, and seek the Lord, we can transform society. The question is profound, what can we do? Our Father is waiting and longing to hear from heaven to forgive our sin of prayerless and heal our lands. The question is, what will you do?
