Jeremiah 23:24
Can any hide in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord.
Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
There is an arrogance in the heart of man that believes that he, can get away with a crime. A man hides the evidence and hopes that no one is watching. With his conscience seared with a hot iron, he has become a lost soul without conviction, void of the fear of God. He is deceived in his way, expecting never to get caught, rendering no consequences for their action. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.
God said, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool, yet the fearless fools ask themselves, "Where is God?" God is omnipresent. He is everywhere at all times and He sees everything; there is no place to hide. Whether in darkness, in secret or plain sight, far or near, everything is exposed before Him. If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. They don't realize that God sees everything so much so that He is even a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly. The manifest presence of the Lord dwells with the righteous people of God. His laws are written on the walls of their heart and they are guided by the conviction of the Holy Ghost. Fools ignore the laws of God and for this reason, they have no conscience. Where there is no conscience, in the process of time the people become lawless. A lawless society is described in the Bible where every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
Fools are found in every category of life from dignitaries and politicians to the commoner, yet God knows them all. They are fools to think that they can get away with murder and all manner of crimes as they have committed sins against God and humanity. They hide in darkness and practice all manner of wickedness and covertly destroy evidence to hide from the coming judgment. They collude with other like-minded people and help them to hide their sins as well. They believe that they are doing this all in secret, not realizing that they are being watched and their deeds are recorded. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh. Unknown to the fools, God made darkness his secret place.
Truth and transparency are God's gift to the righteous; blindness through deception is the reward of the ignorant. It does not matter our ideology; no one can hide from God. This will be horrifying news to the non-believers. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. As we walk in the transparency of the truth there will be no reason to hide from God.
