God Will Not Be Mocked #244

Galatians 6:7

Be not deceived; God is not mocked.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. The long-suffering of God is often misinterpreted as weakness by those that do not know the Lord. Many are deceived into believing that there are no consequences for those that commit sins against Him. Let us make it clear; Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Be warned, the all-seeing and heart-searching God will not be deceived, nor will He be mocked.

Consider the heart of Father. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God's mercy endureth for ever, but His judgment is also eternal. God sent the Lord Jesus Christ to the cross because He desires mercy for us rather than judgment.

There will always be a people that will despise the work of the cross and will reject God's gift of salvation. They abhor all things that are godly and yet, embrace all that is wicked. Their hearts are consumed with hatred and anger as they shake their fist to heaven to mock and curse God. They tempt and ask, Where is the God of judgment? These are ungodly that sitteth in the seat of the scornful. The Lord is merciful yet, He is also angry with the wicked every day. For such God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. They refuse the truth, therefore let them be deceived by a lie. Sadly, this earth will be the only heaven they will ever know.

Deceived by the strong delusion, not only do they believe the lie, they promote and become advocates for it. They mock everyone and everything that stands for the truth and godliness. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Promoting lawlessness, corruption, and immorality, they see themselves as the righteous ones in their own eyes. Crimes against humanity and God himself will surge as society self-destructs from moral decay.

I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh to try the hearts of men so that they are without excuse. In these last days, all will be visited by the Holy Spirit without exception. Each person will have the opportunity to choose whether to accept or reject Him. God is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The Lord knows those who are His and those who are not.

These are the last days and the fields are white and ready to be harvested however, tares are mingled among the wheat. Consider what Jesus said, Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. What has been sown will be reaped during harvest time. The time for the mockers is quickly running out and He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh.
